Breaking news coming from the homestead area around sw 280 st and 143 ct. where at about 11 a.m. two police officers have been injured and possibly shot.

So far we only have a statement from Lieutenant Frank O’brien where he has informed us
that there is one suspect who is described as a white male, heavy-set, last seen driving a white Honda Accord.

There is special response team on the scene and as a precaution the police is asking for no live shots of the scene until completion. Further information is unfolding at this time, and we will keep you posted as new details develop. Police ask if anyone has information regarding this incident please contact law enforcement.
