In a police involved shooting, two Miami-Dade police officers were injured in Southwest Miami-Dade at approximately 11 a.m. The suspect Shawn LaBeet was last seen driving alone in a white Honda Accord.
At first, police were looking for Kevin Wehner described as a white heavy-set male but police just informed that there is new suspect. According to police, the suspect's girlfriend confirmed that the suspect's name is Shawn LaBeet.
The shooting took place on SW 280 Street and SW 143 Ct. It is unknown whether the suspect is armed. Special response team is on the scene at this time.
