Four officers were shot off earlier this morning at a residential area of SW Miami-Dade. The suspect, revealed as Shawn LaBeet, was last seen driving from SW 280 St. and SW 143 Court in a white Honda Accord.
Suspect may be armed. No accomplices were reported. Police are asking those in the area to be on the lookout. A special response team is on the scene investigating.
Originally police received false information on the suspect being Kevin Wehner, a white heavyset male living in Jacksonville.
Condition of officers shot unknown. More information is forthcoming.
